The results revealed high scores for “support or assistance for children” and “environmental structure” on the childcare environment scale. Additionally, childcare workers were able to grasp children’s development, situation of the classes, and set goals, and create a physical and spatial environment that stimulated children’s motivation. Childcare workers also provided support to encourage the organization and independent activities of the children. By contrast, the scores for“ childcare planning and evaluation” were low. The information was provided only to parents. Through interviews and observations, we gained a concrete understanding of childcare workers’ intentions and issues.
