| 内容記述 | 本研究では高齢者の回想をその機能から分類する回想機能尺度（RFS）と，回想が行われた状況の違いから区別をする「回想のモダリティ」という考えに基づいて作成された個人内および対人的回想尺度を取り上げ，心理的適応との関連から両者を比較しその関連性を検討した。市民講座を受講する60歳以上の中高齢者140名を対象に検討を行った結果，いくつかの回想機能において高齢者の性別や年代によって回想の頻度が異なった。RFSとその他の回想の尺度の相関を検討したところ，下位尺度の「退屈の軽減」は個人内回想と否定的回想とのみ有意な相関を示し，退屈の軽減のための回想は個人内で想起されてネガティブな感情をともないやすいと考えられた。これに対して「親密さの維持」と「コミュニケーション」はポジティブな感情がともないやすい回想だと考えられた。本研究では「親密さの維持」と心理的適応との関連において先行研究と異なる結果が認められ，異なる文化圏での回想の特徴の相違を検討する重要性が示唆された。 The relationships between the Reminiscence Function Scale（RFS）for assessing types of reminiscence in older adults, scales for assessing the frequency of intra-personal reminiscence, and oral, interpersonal reminiscence with others, which are based on the idea of modalities of reminiscence, and psychological well-being were investigated. Middle-aged and older adults（N=140, aged 60 years or older）attending public lecture courses complete the questionnaires. Results suggested gender and age differences in the functions of reminiscence. Correlation analyses indicated that the ”Boredom reduction" subscale of the RFS and intra-personal and negative reminiscence were significantly correlated, suggesting that people individually engaged in this type of reminiscence, and it was accompanied by negative feelings. In contrast, positive feelings accompanied "Intimacy maintenance" and "Communication" subscales of the RFS. It is suggested that differences between the results of this and previous studies on the relationship between "Intimacy maintenance" and well-being could be explained by cultural differences in the characteristics of reminiscence between Western countries and Japan. |
