| 内容記述 | 本研究の目的は、子どもの平面図形における 「高さ」 の理解について明らかにすることである。そのため、次の2つの調査を行った。調査1では、平行四辺形の求積問題に対する子どもの 「高さ」 の作図を分析するための図を選定するとともにその提示方法を検討した。調査2では、調査1で検討し選定した図をもちい、 「高さ」 の作図と求積のために使用した式の分析から、 「高さ」 の理解の特徴や学年間の相違を明らかにした。調査2の結果は次の3点にまとめられる。1） 「高さ」 の理解は十分でなく、 「高さと斜辺を混同する」 子どもが、小学校、中学校ともに3割程度いる、 2）どの辺を 「底辺」 とするかは、図形の配置ではなく、長辺とする傾向が強い、 3） 2）の背景には、 「図形の内部に高さをとる」 、 「高さ」 の作図において 「底辺にあたる辺の内部から直交するようにかく」 という考えがある。 | |||||||

| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study is to examine the state of children’s understanding about “ Height” . In this study, two surveys were carried out : 1） The verification of research method, 2） Cross-sectional survey for examining the state of children’s understanding about “Height” through problem solving for geometrical construction and measuring the area. Conclusion of this study is the following three points. 1） About 30% of the participants confused height and hypotenuse, and the proportion of the children who understand “Height” decrease as the school year goes up. 2） Children has a strong tendency to recognize the long side as the bottom. 3） The result of 2） indicates that children has an idea they focus on the inside of the bottom when they construct the height. |
