大学において退学者の削減は重要な課題である。この課題について、従来は学生に問題が生じてから対処せざるを得なかった。しかし近年では、情報通信技術の発展にともない、学生に関する多様なデータを教育ビッグデータとして一元管理することが可能になった。さらに、これらの情報を基にして将来退学する可能性のある要注意学生を早期発見するためのシステムが開発されている。このシステムを活用することで、大学は要注意学生を早期に発見することができる。本研究ではこのような新しい形の修学支援を概観する。最後に、大学全体が協働して取り組む修学支援の新しい形についても考察する。 |

Dropout reduction is a topic considered very important at universities. In the past, university could not cope with the problems until at-risk student appeared. However, in recent years, with the development of information and communication technology, it became possible to keep track of various data on students as educational big data. Based on this information, some systems which detect students who may drop out in the future are being developed. By utilizing them, university can predict students who are at-risk of dropout while there is still time to help. In this research, we outline the support of such new forms of dropout reduction strategies. Finally, we consider a new form of school support in which all faculty members cooperate. |
