| 内容記述 | 本研究の目的は，高齢者が好む音楽には，どのようなテンポの特徴があるかを捉えることである。好みの音楽に関するこれまでの研究は，調査者が準備した曲から好みの曲を選択する方法で行われていた。本研究では，好きな歌を自由記述形式で10曲まで答えるように対象者に求めた。高齢者486人（平均年齢73.29，SD = 5.44，年齢範囲60―98歳）を対象に，好きな歌の記述を求め，合計1028曲の回答が得られた。その中から上位30の歌のテンポと聴取時期を分析した。また，2020年Billboard Japan Hot 100上位30の歌も分析し，一般聴衆が聴く歌のテンポと比較した。高齢者が好む歌上位30の平均テンポは81.88 bpm（SD = 13.31）で，一般聴衆の平均テンポ（平均テンポ106.17 bpm，SD = 28.26）より遅かった。また，高齢者の聴取時期の特徴として，対象者が30―40代の頃に聴取した歌が好まれていることがわかった。 The aim of this study was to investigate the characteristics of the tempo of music preferred by older people. In previous studies, the preferred music was investigated by asking the participants to choose their favorite songs from a music list prepared in advance. However, the current study investigated their favorite songs through open-ended questions. There were 487 participants （mean age = 73.29 years, SD = 5.44, age range = 60–98 years） who were asked to name the title of their favorite songs. We had a total of 1028 favorite songs, out of which top 30 songs were analyzed for their tempo and the period of listening. To compare the results of the older adults with the general audience, we analyzed the tempo of the top 30 songs of the Billboard Japan Hot 100. We found that the tempo of the preferred songs of the older adults （mean tempo = 81.88 bpm, SD = 13.31） were slower than that of the general audience （mean tempo = 106.17 bpm, SD = 28.26）. In addition, we showed that older adults preferred the songs that they had heard in their 30s and 40s. |
